First blog!

I am starting a blog at almost 34 weeks...I probably should have started one months ago buuut life got in the way. I've got more free time now since I'm not as busy at work because my replacement who's covering for my maternity leave is taking over full time now...I'm just sitting at an empty desk working on a database that probably no one will use. But I'll be very proud of myself if I can get it to work.

Antonio (baby) kicks me. A lot. And he squirms and rolls and does all kinds of weird (and painful for me) stretching. He is running out of room in my belly. And we still have almost 6 weeks to go. Lovely.

We've got the car seat set up (or will be set up in the next ten minutes if I can get my husband unglued from his computer screen) and the stroller in the trunk. The baby's bassinet is put together and is very sturdy. My cat Chicho decided she'd test it out for us today. *Sigh* I found her last night in the little basket underneath the bassinet. How do you explain to your cat that this bed was not put together for her? Hm.

Speaking of cats (and I'm sorry if I ramble...but that's how my mind works haha) I have two of them. And a dog. In a tiny apartment. With a baby on the way. Ohh I am so brave. Cats are Chicho who's 2 and Ripley who just turned 1. Chicho is my cat from when I lived at home with my parents and has moved with me when I started living with my husband. Ripley is actually my sister's cat that she left behind when she moved to North Carolina. I don't have the heart to send her to the humane society so I'm keeping her. Halloween is our dog and resident queen bee. She's been with Tony since birth (about 8-9 years) and she'll probably be around for a while longer. She has more spunk that a dog half her age.

With that being said, it's a little squeazed in here in our tiny little apartment. Due to financial issues we haven't been able to move. Hopefully, we can before Antonio gets here.

...So yea. This blog is going to be me writing about being a new mom, living with my husband and my animals. All under the same roof. Oh boy.
