That's what I have now.
Not a sweet gurgling cute little baby.
Ladies and Gentlemen, he has left the building. In his place is a very cranky and very loud little monster that doesn't like his paci, lullaby cd or being rocked. He prefers to be upright and curled against your chest. Nothing else will do.
At this very moment, that cranky little monster is passed out next to his dad. (Did I mention he now veto'd sleeping in his bassinet?) Thank God. I need some time to recuperate.
I've got exactly one hour til the next feeding. I hope this hour can stretch to two..but I highly doubt it.
I think it's a combination of colic and hunger that's making him so cranky. I might have to up his formula amount.
Wish me luck for this week...I won't have Tony to take him for a few minutes. O_o
Boooo to having a case of the crankys. We're really lucky, this time around, with our 3rd. Shes so much like her sister was as a baby, which makes sense, since they were born only a week apart (well... with 4 years in between). But our middle child, our boy... he was a handful. And still is. Good luck Mama, calming the grouch in your little one. I'm sure you're doing the best you can. Whatever works, stick with it. Since he only likes to be on your chest cuddled up, have you maybe tried using a sleepywrap or a moby wrap??
ReplyDeleteI haven't bought one yet but I am totally going to get one. Early in the evening is when he starts getting cranky. Plus it'll be easier to get him to nap when I need to do chores at the same time.
