Letter to Antonio

For his first month, I wrote this:

Dear Antonio,

You're one month old today. I can't believe how big you've gotten in one month. You are never still! You're always moving around. Even in your sleep (and you wake yourself up!) You don't like having your diaper changed or getting a bath (unless you're taking a shower with someone). You love snuggling close to me and to your dad when you're napping. You just started sleeping in your bassinet and soon we'll move you to your crib.

I love the way you watch me when we're just at home watching tv (well I watch TV, you watch me watch TV). You are great at lifting your head during tummy time and especially when you're on my shoulder when I'm burping you.

You don't mind that your cousins are extremely loud and obnoxious. You nap anyway. You love being in your swing.

At your last check up earlier this week, you weighed 10lbs 10oz and you're 21 inches long. The doctor says you're growing just as you should be.

You look just like your dad. Nothing like me. But that's okay. Your dad's one good looking guy :) You've got these gorgeous gray eyes...I can't wait to see what color they turn into.

I love you so much. I can't wait to see what next month brings.
